dg Rosie & Luke........Sigh *LOL*

You know Rosie's obsession with remotes. Keith had the dogs downstairs this afternoon, while the babysitting kids was here. He immediately takes them out to go potty when they go down. Rosie grabbed the remote. Let me rephrase that. Rosie snuck the remote & took it outside with her. When they came back in, Keith went to get the remote to turn on the TV. No remote. He looks around the basement floor. Nothing. He looks in the other side of the basement. Nothing. He goes outside & starts walking the whole yard. It was almost to the top of the yard. Good thing it wasn't raining like it has been. What are we going to do with her?
Now, on to Lukie. You guys all know his past. He was 1 1/2 but had the mentality of a month old puppy. We worked & worked & caught Lukie up. I think we taught him too well. Remember how he loves trash cans, & tries to get good things off the top. Well, when the soda can incident happened, we went out & bought a $40.00 metal can, that you have to step on a handle to get it open. Guess who has learned how to step on the handle & open the lid? He has now found it is easier to just take his nose & raise up the lid, with the little part sticking out, if we just want to lift the lid. Luke has gotten to smart for his own paws. Now what do we do to keep him out of the trash? I guess we will just turn the can around, so he can't raise the lid. I'm such a mean mom.

Those little monkey's....They are just too smart for their human mommy and papa..
It's un-real how quick they learn things.
I know with Angel you only show her once and she remembers so you want to make sure you are teaching her the right things. LOL

I started practicing with her last week to remind her how a disability service dog has to act when they are walking beside a walker...I was so proud of her today when she showed my husband how good she can be when mommy is using the walker...We did a long walk around the outside of our property and she never left me once...I love her.... She was 5 months old when she first learned to do this and she never forgot a thing...

These goldens are amazing animals.

That is so cute with Rosie and Luke...Rosie must not have liked the shows on the TV so she was going to take care of them for good. LOL

Ok...I'm thinking....thinking...... Ok... my idea for the remote...Keith need to make a "remote shelf" or a "remote drawer" a specific place to keep that darn remote hidden

Now as for the trash can.... ummm....I have the same problem with Molly..and I do turn the trash can around so she hopefull won't get into it. But she always finds a way....sigh....so...I have no idea ahahahahhaha but when you do get it figured out Lindy..please pass it on to the rest of us....
