I wanted to share this with all of you this afternoon. I had so many emotions....tears of sadness at how ANYONE could neglect and cause this horrific life for this precious little girl, and yes ANGER as well! But as I watched the video....my tears turned to happiness.......please watch this....it so touched my heart. Bless you sweet Edie. May you find the loving, forever home you so deserve.
Sweet Edie Rescued one hour before Euthanasia Sometimes all you need is a hug... Living in a shelter can be such a scary place. It makes animals behave in ways that make others think they are not adoptable...when all they need is a hug. Please watch this video to understand how simple TLC can be all that is needed to reassure an animal that it's going to be okay...... Edie came within an hour of being euthanized. One hug from a devoted animal lover changed her life forever. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LqSHfkLvHk |

OMG talk about bawling my eyes out, & then getting so happy. It just makes me so infuriated when I see how someone can treat an animal that way. It really brings an ugly side of me out, when I deal with someone like this. Thank God that girl knew there was a wonderful dog in the scared one. She was just trying to protect herself from the unknown. Keith & I never let an animal acting that way in a shelter influance us. When Keith & I adopted Tabi, she acted just like this. She couldn't be put in a cage. She had to be put in the interview room, because the workers was afraid to reach in the cage to feed, water & change her litter. We looked & her & fell in love. Keith & I told the shelter, she is just scared to death being here. We will have a loving cat in a month. It took 2 weeks. Thanks Karen for the wonderful video. I am so glad that sweet little dog was saved & now has a wonderful & loving forever home.

Awwwwwwwww what a sweet puppie...All Eddie needed was someone to love him...
Isn't that usually the way? Everyone needs to feel loved. Amazing what a lap and a hug can do. I hope things continue to get better for Eddie. Angel hugs |
