Signature trouble

I haven't had a siggy in a while so I thought I would use the one I just posted of Gigi playing dress-up in my daughter's pink dress-up outfit that I posted today. But I have tried 10 ways to Sunday to load that thing and I can't get it to load the photo itself - it just keeps putting it in as a hyperlink. I can easily post pics when I can add them as an attachment in a thread from a post, but I have trouble in the siggy section for some reason since there is no paperclip in there - lol. I've tried the hyperlink, the email link and the insert image - none of them will give me a photo - only a hyperlink. At least I got it centered, though.

Worse, the windows side of my laptop crashed while we were on our trip, so I only have access to the mac side and I am not as familiar with this software. I suppose if I were not so exhausted I could actually get up out of bed and go to my study and use the desktop, hmm? LOL But there must be a way to make it work on the mac and I may be using this more and more now.

Can anyone help me correct this so it displays the photo instead of the hyperlink? Thanks so much!!!

But, I still don't know how to get the thing in my siggy and I'm afraid to alter what you just did for me!! Teach me, oh wise one!!!

To place a photo just simply upload the photo to a site like photobucket. Once up upload the photo it give you a tag underneath the photo. looks like this [img]xicipod.jpg[/img] place that in your user profile "signature" box... Viola! that's it!

I actually tried that several times, but I must be doing something wrong as it wasn't working for me this time even though I've gotten it to work in the past. No idea why.

It was fun learning about Photobucket today - not as nice as my Photoshop, but since that is in the section of my computer that crashed , iPhoto and Photobucket were a nice substitute and I suppose it is time I learn how to use the Mac software on this thing! LOL!
